Use It Before You Buy It

Software is quoted as a range with an asterisk. This is a fixed five thousand dollars for an application a department can run on, and the number does not move with the size of the project. It works because your business is written down once, in one free file called a rulebook, which stays yours whether you buy anything or not. Drop that file on the Internal App card and a complete project is built from it, database, secure sign in, screens, phone, tests and plain English documentation, and you open it and use it before you have paid anything at all. The one moment we ask for a card is when you want the code handed over: the repository is transferred into your own GitHub account, or arrives as a pull request against the repository your team already works in. After that a rule change travels the whole stack by itself, and that loop is not a subscription: every project carries a perpetual licence for that project. Five thousand is the whole number.
